Contemporary, Architecture and Geometry: the three omnipresent features always present in Ana Bragança Jewellery´s collections.
Ana is an architect with a Master degree from The Bartlett (University College of London). Her former profession led her to live in cities such as London, Paris and Athens. However, in 2012, she has found jewellery, the art that truly completes her and to which she is exclusively dedicated to since 2015.
Nevertheless, the artist architectural background is still very present in her jewellery and this is where its originality is found. There is a constant attempt to emphasise simplicity and clarity of form thus Ana often uses basic geometric shapes in her designs. In the end, Ana Bragança’s goal is to produce minimal jewellery pieces, where there is no space for excess, only beauty.
The BELIEVE line is inspired by the design of the façade of the Hallgrímskirkja church, in Iceland, and is a good exemple of how the artist takes advantage of geometry concepts to make her jewellery pieces.
